Daniel 11:15-16
Then the king of the North will come and build up siege ramps and will capture a fortified city. The forces of the South will be powerless to resist; even their best troops will not have the strength to stand. The invader will do as he pleases; not one will be able to stand against him. He will establish himself in the Beautiful Land and will have the power to destroy it.
History
Scopus fought against Antiochus III (KOTN) that winter and causes him to withdraw. Antiochus III responds with another invasion. This invasion captures Sidon (which is the fortified city noted in the prophecy). This is where Scopus eventually surrenders to the KOTN.
Again, the prophecy is fulfilled when the “Beautiful Land” (which is Israel), is conquered by the KOTN at this point in the invasion.
